Kate Spade Kindle Cover

14 May 2001 Update: I've bought another Kindle and also another Kate Spade case. Scroll to the bottom.

-----------------------------------
So after my lighted Amazon Kindle cover stopped working recently (see previous entry), Amazon refunded me the cost and I had the opportunity to shop for a new case. I don't know how to call this Kate Spade Kindle Cover... extremely cute? (click = big) It costs US$69.99.

The design has been inspired by the US$325 Kate Spade Book Clutch.  A fuller review can be found at Amazon.com . This case is a breath of fresh air... very whimsical!

14 May 2001 Update:  Here's the new Hello case and it looks gorgeous. Highly recommended!

Yende! I think this slightly-feminine cover's a breath of fresh air from the usual covers that you choose (:

Nice... But if I had to get something from Kate Spade for my Kindle, I'd chicken out and head straight for the safe, black leather cover that's available from Amazon too... But why can't Jake Spade make a Kindle cover???

Kate Spade has carved out a solid presence in the expanse of high-end retailers whose handbags are one of the must-have items in a wardrobe and there is simply no reason why she couldn't do the same now to every women with a Kindle.

I've been looking around for a kindle 3 cover and your new cover is gorgeous. I was wondering if you have any problems with your Kate Spade cover.

I was also considering this one as it's leather and really pretty.

I don't have many problems with the case. The only thing is that it is a bit difficult to fold back completely, though it's perfectly possible.

On the Amazon site's reviews for the KS covers, i keep reading about how its causing their kindles to malfunction because of the hooves. Have you experienced this or heard of this issue? I really love the KS covers and want to get one but am just worried about this?
Thanks!

I haven't experienced the issues that some have.

It's also not easy to determine exactly what causes the problems.

I think the hinges issue isn't the crucial one. The fact that it doesn't fold back 100% effortlessly is the problem for most people...

I like that men use more "feminine" stuff. You can try the Diane von Furtenburg covers. They are seriously classy versions. One can go to society social dinners and be bored and read. And then it looks really cool. Every woman there will want one because they are really bored pretending to be interested. But with that kind of cover, you can look cool and be approved! HAHA!
