Thanks to
Wandie for catching this in a
previous comment. It's true! The homepage of the
Civ IV website features local buildings! (Click below for bigger picture.)
Walking along the paved Roman road, you'll reach the
Leaning Tower of Pisa. The White House is beside it. The buildings above the WH are, from left to right, Singapore Land Tower,
Maybank Tower,
OUB Centre,
UOB Plaza 1 and 2 (separated by the road), and
OCBC Centre. The real life view is
here. Way cool! :)

Is it in the game as well? Did Sid Meier visit Singapore? Got inspired?
I'm not sure whether it's in the game, probably it's just artwork to be used on the website.
Maybe the designer who drew the artwork searched Google Images, and found a suitable skyline that has a space to put in the road. But I'd be interested to know what the real story is too...:)
is the game out in singapore yet? Last I checked, it wasnt available at challenger & SLS
I think it'll be out next week, so saith the folks in the forums... but obviously, I won't be getting it!
I'm also wondering if I should get it. Cause if i get it, I can expect myself to burn many hours in it....
it is too damn addictive...

I'm not sure when it's coming out, probably the coming week. The minimum system requirements can be found here.
Cannot lah... Judging from the amount of time I've wasted on Civ 1, 2 and 3, I think I shouldn't get Civ4. Will die....
